This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy explains who owns what in the videos we create — including finished videos, source and project files, music, graphics, logos, voiceover, and publishing rights. It applies to every project alongside our Terms of Service and Service Agreement & Production Terms. Read it carefully, as it defines exactly what you receive and what remains licensed.
01Materials you provide
You keep ownership of the footage, images, logos, brand assets, and other materials you supply. By providing them, you grant Braventor a non-exclusive license to use, edit, adapt, and incorporate them for the purpose of producing and delivering your project, and you confirm you hold the rights to grant that license.
02Ownership of the finished video
Once your project is paid in full, you receive ownership of, or a full license to use, the finished delivered video for the purposes agreed for your project, including publishing it on your platforms and using it in your marketing. The exact rights are confirmed in your order or agreement.
03Source and project files
Unless expressly agreed in writing, delivery includes the final rendered video only. Raw footage, editable project files (such as editing-software timelines), and intermediate assets remain our property and are not included by default. They may be licensed or released for an additional fee.
04Music and licensed assets
Music, sound effects, stock footage, fonts, and similar third-party assets used in your video are typically licensed, not owned outright. That license covers the delivered video for the agreed use. It does not transfer ownership of the asset to you and may limit certain uses (for example, broadcast, paid advertising, or resale) unless an extended license is purchased. You must comply with the terms of any such third-party license.
05Graphics, templates, and voiceover
Motion graphics and design elements we create for your project are delivered as part of the finished video. Reusable systems, templates, presets, and know-how we develop remain ours. Voiceover recordings are licensed for the agreed use of the delivered video; extended or separate use may require additional rights.
06Third-party rights, people, and releases
You are responsible for ensuring that materials you provide — including people who appear on camera, locations, trademarks, and copyrighted works — are properly cleared and permitted for use. You confirm you have obtained any necessary consents, model releases, and location permissions before providing such material.
07AI-assisted elements
Where we use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help produce elements of a video, we do so as part of our normal workflow. Ownership and licensing of the delivered video are as described in this Policy, and you remain responsible for the accuracy and rights of any inputs you provide.
08Our brand and website
The Braventor name, logo, website, showreel, and original content are our intellectual property and are protected by law. Nothing in a project transfers ownership of our brand or of materials we did not create specifically for you.
09Credit and moral rights
We may, but are not required to, be credited as the producer of a video. Where local law grants moral rights, nothing in this Policy is intended to require you to falsely attribute authorship, and we will not misrepresent the origin of your materials.
10Portfolio and promotional use
We may display completed work in our portfolio, showreel, social channels, and marketing, and reference you as a client, unless we agree confidentiality in writing before the project begins.
11Consequences of non-payment
Licenses and ownership of deliverables transfer only once a project is paid in full. Until then, you are not authorized to publish or use the deliverables, and we retain all rights in the work. Publishing unpaid work is a breach of these terms.
12Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our site or in our work infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to identify the material, your rights, and your claim, and we will review and respond appropriately, including removing infringing material where warranted.
13Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect when your project is confirmed applies to that project; the current version is always posted here.
