Service Agreement & Production Terms

Last updated: 05 July 2026

These Service Agreement & Production Terms describe how we run video projects — scope, timelines, revisions, client responsibilities, materials, approvals, delivery, and ownership. They apply to every project unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, and they work alongside our Terms of Service, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

01Scope of work

Each project has a defined scope — the number and length of videos, format, platforms, and included features — confirmed with you before work begins. Anything outside that scope (extra videos, additional revisions, rush delivery, or new requirements) is treated as additional work and quoted separately before we proceed.

02Project timeline

We agree an estimated timeline for each project. Timelines depend on you providing materials and feedback on time. First-cut turnaround times shown on our site are typical estimates, not guarantees, and complex projects may take longer. The schedule shifts if inputs are late.

03Client responsibilities

To keep your project on track, you agree to:

  • Provide a clear brief and the goal for each video.
  • Supply usable footage, images, logos, and brand assets where the project requires them.
  • Confirm scripts, concepts, and key decisions promptly when we ask.
  • Provide consolidated, specific feedback within the agreed revision windows.
  • Nominate a single point of contact authorized to approve work on your behalf.

04Materials you provide

You are responsible for ensuring you own or have the rights to all footage, images, music, logos, and other materials you send us, and that we may use them to produce your video. You agree that our use of your materials to deliver the project will not infringe any third party’s rights, and you will indemnify us against claims arising from materials you supply.

05Scripts and approvals

Where a project includes scripting, we share the script or concept for your approval before production. Approving a script, voiceover, or cut confirms it is ready to proceed. Changes requested after approval may count as an additional revision or additional work.

06Revisions

Each package includes a specific number of revision rounds (for example, up to two rounds on the Promotional Video Package). A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback returned within the agreed window. Additional rounds, or changes that alter the agreed direction, are billed as extra work at our current rates.

07Filming coordination

For projects and retainers that involve filming, we coordinate and direct remotely and provide guidance, shot lists, and specifications. Unless expressly agreed in writing, capturing footage on location is the client’s responsibility, and we work with the material provided. We are not responsible for the technical quality of footage we did not capture.

08Feedback windows and delays

Feedback is expected within the window stated for each stage. If materials or approvals are outstanding, the timeline shifts accordingly. If a project is inactive on the client’s side for an extended period (for example, thirty days), we may pause it and reschedule it around other commitments, and any deposit remains non-refundable.

09Delivery and formats

We deliver final videos in agreed formats and resolutions suitable for the intended platforms, via a download or shared link. Unless stated otherwise, delivery does not include raw footage or editable project files; these may be available separately as described in our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

10Approval and acceptance

A deliverable is considered accepted once you approve it, or after a reasonable period following delivery without in-scope revision requests. After acceptance, further changes are treated as new work.

11Storage and backups

We keep working files for a limited period after delivery as a courtesy but are not obligated to archive project files indefinitely. You are responsible for storing and backing up your final delivered files. We may delete project materials after a reasonable retention period.

12Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other’s non-public information confidential and to use it only to perform or receive the services. If a project is sensitive, tell us before it begins and we will agree appropriate limits, including on portfolio use.

13Independent contractor

We provide services as an independent studio. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, or exclusive relationship, and we may provide similar services to other clients, including within your industry, subject to our confidentiality obligations.

14Publishing and results

Where a package includes a publishing strategy, we provide recommendations and platform-ready files. We do not control platform algorithms and do not guarantee specific reach, engagement, or performance; see our Disclaimer.

15Fees and additional work

Agreed fees cover the confirmed scope. Additional videos, extra revisions, rush timelines, licensed assets, or new requirements are quoted and approved before we proceed. Payment terms are set out in your order and the Terms of Service.

16Portfolio use

Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may show completed work in our portfolio, showreel, and marketing, and identify you as a client. If a project is confidential, tell us before it begins and we will agree appropriate limits.

17Warranty

We warrant that we will perform the services with reasonable skill and care and substantially in line with the agreed scope. This is your exclusive remedy for the quality of the services, addressed through the revision process, and replaces all other warranties to the extent permitted by law.

18Termination

Either party may end a project for material breach that is not cured within a reasonable time after notice. On termination, you pay for work performed up to that date, and ownership of deliverables transfers only for work that has been paid in full.

19Changes to these Terms

We may update these Production Terms from time to time. The version in effect when your project is confirmed applies to that project; the current version is always posted here.
